Pause for Breath: Bringing the Practices of Mindfulness and Dialogue to Leadership Conversations, 19th October 2015 in Edinburgh

Amanda Ridings ( is hosting a free ‘exploratory session’ for a new programme of dialogue-related work which begins in February 2016. It is ‘no obligation’ and will take place in central Edinburgh on Monday 19 October 2015. Tea and coffee will be available from 1.30pm for a 2pm start, finish at 5.30pm.

This is for leaders, coaches and practitioners who are intrigued by their contribution to, and impact in, conversations, and who are committed to cultivating an authentic presence and voice. Pause for Breath explores: the influence of internal dialogue on your interactions with others and your effectiveness in your organisation; how to increase your versatility in challenging or delicate conversations and to develop capacity for doing this in 'bad weather' (adverse conditions; and how to germinate systemic change, one leadership conversation at a time.)

Alastair Davis SIS Chief Executive Wins CDFI Leadership Award

Alastair Davis, Chief Executive of Social Investment Scotland (SIS), scooped the CDFI Leader Award at the UK Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards in recognition of his contribution to growing the social enterprise sector.
