Fiona Gifford

fionaFiona Gifford has over thirty five years’ experience of leading and developing high performing teams. Her early career focused on delivering strategic change in blue chip organisations and she held senior positions in HR, OD, Regional Service Delivery, Shared Services and Change Management at NEC, Motorola and RBS Group. She has led global programmes through multi-cultural and virtual teams with an exceptional track record of success.

Fiona now specialises in leadership, team and organisation development. She is passionate about leadership’s role in creating purposeful, positive, high contribution and learning environments (Human Spaces) at work.

She is a sought-after executive and team coach and has coached many senior leaders in both the public and private sectors. Fiona has particular passion and expertise in coaching high potential emerging leaders. 

Fiona has authored several practical toolkits including; Purposeful Leadership: How to create a high performance environment, Leading Virtual Teams, Building Effective Relationships, Building a Stakeholder Strategy, Effective Dialogue and Designing a Facilitated Workshop. 

Fiona holds an MA(hons) and MBA from the University of Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the NeuroLeadership Institute. She is a qualified MBTI and LPI practitioner and AoEC accredited Executive Coach. She has studied High Performance Leadership for many years and is an alumni of programmes on this subject at both Harvard and IMD.
