Fiona Gifford has over twenty five years’ experience of leading and developing high performing teams. Her early career focused on delivering strategic change in blue chip organisations and she held senior positions in HR, OD, Regional Service Delivery, Shared Services and Change Management at NEC, Motorola and RBS Group. She has led global programmes through multi-cultural and virtual teams with an exceptional track record of success.
For the last 10 years, Fiona has specialised in supporting the delivery of exceptional performance through her work in leadership, team and organisation development. She is a sought-after executive and team coach and has coached many senior leaders in both the public and private sectors. Fiona has particular passion and expertise in coaching high potential emerging leaders. She is passionate about creating Human Spaces; high performance team environments created by leaders.
Fiona has authored several practical toolkits including; Purposeful Leadership: How to create a high performance environment, Leading Virtual Teams, Building Effective Relationships, Building a Stakeholder Strategy, Effective Dialogue and Designing a Facilitated Workshop.
Fiona holds an MA(hons) and MBA from the University of Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the NeuroLeadership Institute. She is a qualified MBTI practitioner and AoEC accredited Executive Coach. Fiona is a member of the Advisory Board of Cooperative Development Scotland. She has studied High Performance Leadership for many years and is an alumni of programmes on this subject at both Harvard and IMD.
