Mark Bell
Mark is a leadership coach with extensive experience in executive and leadership development. Born and educated in Scotland, Mark is an honours graduate in Scots and European law, publishing a paper on the role of the law in the protection of women. Mark spent several years practising as a criminal defence lawyer in Edinburgh. In 1996 he moved to England to join Mars Confectionery where he worked as a National Account Manager and Project Manager connecting keen business acumen to his strong interpersonal skills.In 1998 Mark returned to Scotland to join Boots the Chemist in charge of Human Resources where he managed the national H.R. budget, a team of strategic personnel and training managers and teams of internal and external consultants.
Mark is a highly experienced coach and consultant working with a broad portfolio of clients which include The Royal Bank of Scotland, Scottish Power, Ernst and Young, Aon, Freescale, Scottish Enterprise, The Lloyds Group, First Port, B.P., StandardLife and P.W.C. He has supported businesses around the world in Europe, U.S.A., the Middle-East and Asia. He works closely with clients to help them grow more leadership in themselves and their organisations. Mark holds the Certificate in Business Communications from the International N.L.P. Training Association and is qualified in mediation and conflict resolution from Woodbury College, Vermont.
Mark is co-author of the Gemini Project (as featured in the “Scotsman”), The Head Teacher Leadership Academy and works closely with various charitable organisations such as Columba 1400, Link Exchange Overseas, Perth YMCA, Community Action Network and The Regenerate Trust. He is a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Committee for Perthshire and Kinross. Mark is committed to his own personal development and recently completed the Hoffman Process.
Mark serves as a Board member with Perth College, University of Highlands and Islands. He is accredited by the Association of Professional Executive Coaches and Supervisors.
